World Cup Colors!!!

I have to do at least one blip to celebrate the World Cup in Brazil. We returned from NYC today, where we had no TV in our apartment, and immediately glued ourselves to our HD monitor. This was the celebration after Uruguay defeated Italy 1-0 to advance to the round of 16--Uruguay's sky-blue color dominates. View it large to be dazzled.

In the second set of matches today we watched Greece prevail over the Ivory Coast to advance also to the knock-out round--the game went back and forth, but a penalty kick in about the 91st minute decided it, 2-1 (just a tie would have permitted the Ivory Coast to advance).

A subtext here is that on Sunday (two days ago) Len, my oldest son, who is married to Luciana from Brazil, left to experience the next two weeks in Brazil. He has played soccer since the age of 8 and manages an adult amateur team in Baltimore.
