LOOK AT ME.....

.... what a difference a day makes!!!
Although there is still a bit of wind, after yesterdays bitter winter chills and hi winds, we have a wonderful day here today, so went down to my "private wetlands" to see what was doing. As a testament of the hi winds yesterday, have a check of the damage
which gemaxphoto experienced!!

On walking in, spotted this heron flying in.

It did a circuit and settled on this stump, as you can see just sat there soaking up the sun while I took a few shots.

Thinking it is a white faced heron, but the full tawny white neck has me thinking? Sure one of you lovely bird Blippers out there will confirm for me.
