Ticket Booth
On The East Pier, presumably for the Merry-Go-Round, as the Ferris Wheel is on the opposite (Mailboat) Pier. The man isn't busy. It's evening, everything winding down, as you can see from his posture. His job (the booth's job) is now simply to reflect the actuality of summer, to advertise it. The electric fan in the window knows this, even if it's presently switched off, like its cousin the Ferris Wheel.
