Oak Eggar

in the rain.

I spent my last day for this year on Glensanda quarry in the thick mist and pouring rain. Visibility about 10 meters so nothing to take a photo of. Then I spotted this large moth hiding from the rain in the grass, my blip for today I thought.

Back home now and drying out myself and my gear.

I liked the raindrops on the moths head.
