Danson House

Welsh tree of life quilt hanging in the stairwell at Danson House, part of the exhibition curated by Tracy Chevalier. The house itself has been beautifully restored and the setting is lovely too. Just a few quilts are in each of the five rooms but all of superb quality and one can give each the attention merited.
The pictured quilt is from the Jen Jones collection based in Lampeter and was painted in India and then quilted with different Welsh spirals and Celtic motifs.
