My old pal John

This is John, from Oz, who is visiting us together with his wife Ruth. John and I first met in 1970 when he and I were young lecturers in the newly established University of The South Pacific in Fiji. He taught Physics, I taught Biology. This is only the third time that we have met since those very happy days, but we easily pick up from where we left off.
We have had a very busy, but immensely enjoyable day, seal watching on the local beach in the morning and exploring a Scottish castle in the afternoon. Now for a good dinner!
