Up early for a bar training session then a wander to get some decent coffee, breakfast is provided on the campsite, it's basic but very much appreciated. Met my Twitter friend Julian for a couple of pints then worked my first shift. It was quiet but the punters are lovely and up for a laugh, it was so quiet nobody cared when me and bartender friend from last year Claire buggered off for an hour to drink mulled cider and have me psychoanalysed, we got let off early, watched the massive opening night fire, went round a few bars and had an early night -3am. God, I love this place.

The Phoenix from atop the pyramid stage last year, that and some other moving sculptures form a pyrotechnic display after dark.
