(Not) Sports Day

Following on from yesterday's little soap box moment, it would appear I wasn't the only unimpressed parent at the school gates this morning.

I said my piece, watched the team sports in the morning, and then took Jamie out for an afternoon of bike rides, ice cream, tree climbing, dog walking, squirrel spotting, picnicking and rope swinging. Infinitely more fun than having him sit around all afternoon watching a select few of his classmates run up and down the school field.

I don't think the head teacher likes me anymore. I don't think I care though.
