Happy Birthday Sam

Sam is 12 today - he has received a BMX bike from Nanny and Grandad and several water-balloon related presents (as well as an x-box game) from us.

I attempted to construct the BMX bike whilst he was at school but as the instructions weren't step by step in the style of IKEA I was struggling.

As luck would have it Lucy who came to tackle the weeds in the garden, and who also works in one of the local pubs, just happens to be a qualified mechanic! She spotted that I had put the handle bars on the wrong way...and fixed it. Thanks to Lucy I am now confident Sam has a properly constructed bike!

I should have blipped Lucy, but couldn't resist Sam's birthday smile.
