Happy Birthday Sam...

...11 today!

He was delighted to receive a voucher entitling him to "one hamster + bedding and food for life", but disappointed to learn later in the day that I would prefer him to get it at the end of the Summer holiday as he is away for so much of it...

The mattress topper didn't get much of a cheer (practical present) but he really liked the mini video recorder as he is very much into making silly videos. Unfortunately we have had to send it back as the charger doesn't work :-(

If you are wondering about the cake - James decorated it, but since I'd bought the wrong margarine for the "butter" icing it was all a bit slidey and had to be pinned together with cocktail sticks!
