ABOUT TO BLOOM....

... our second orchid has set a massive amount of buds this year, and whilst out cleaning up after the wind over the last few days, noticed the first bud is about to open.

Needing to be otherwise occupied tonight thought this is my Blip today. Took this using my new toy (the ring flash) and really happy the way it has "opened" up the shadows in the bud.

Whilst out, took this underside of a grevillea flower again just "testing the flash".
