Dropping a hint
The snow is all but gone, apart from a few stubborn bits here and there. Having said that, my friends in Kirkintilloch opted to let their drive remain 'au naturel' for the duration and yesterday morning it was a lethal sheet of blackness that would challenge Torvill and Dean to remain upright.
Further west, the salt and grit have done their bit and in the garden there were hints of things to come. Leaves are beginning to unfurl, daffodils have woken up and these buds have taken on a rosy tone. Love it.
However, they've obviously not taken note of the weather forecast; snow's on its way again tomorrow and everything's going to have to take cover.
