Everlasting Sweet-peas

On the way home from Victoria’s Leaving Assembly I saw these everlasting Sweet-peas, poking their heads through the hedge. We have some in the garden, but ours are still buds.

I am still updating the GOG's journal, he is doing okay although finding doing much for long, very tiring; he seems to forget that he has had major surgery and that it will take a while longer. This afternoon he has an outpatient appointment, unconnected to his surgery, at Addenbrookes hospital.
