Meditation
Reneswar lake.
And so to the new routine, same old same old...found best channa samosa that I've ever tasted...one of the monasteries has a coffee shop, emaho, where after the look of disappointment, (macchiato came huge and watery with hot milk), came the question, that's not espresso macchiato? How do you make it? Ten minutes later I had one...the place is non profit, all proceeds to upkeep of monastery, water refills at 5rps, astounding coconut cookies...and, to complete the food thing, a community cafe with a genius for a cook...hmm...and a channa chaat stand...all clustered around the lake, strewn between the templed shoreline a cycle of temptations...
So, I amuse myself by circling the lake, picking up karmic brownie points, to get a coffee...hmm, snack? circle, gather credit, munch...a good thing the lake's small...
And then I sit, scribble...pull out camera...or just sit...the vibe is peaceful, the humidity risen with gathering heat, hazy...and this day passes, quickly, quietly until the familiar high pitched whine reaches your ears at about the same point that you realise that your ankles are itching...you wonder if you can find coils and cream...mossies also moving north....
