Ah!

This family was on the pond when I got into work this morning so during my lunch break I took the opportunity to photograph them. This is a very proud mum to four yellow and four brown ducklings which probably hatched yesterday. It was a joy to watch these little bundles of fluff as they nestled under mum and then gradually came out one by one to greet the world. After the photo shoot she took them onto the pond where they swam about so confidently and chased insects real and imaginary too I guess. Eight babies now, I wonder how many will be there on Monday morning!!
