An angry sea
Today was a day of contrasts weatherwise today. This morning we decided to go and look at the progress of the road into our small development bearing in mind our removal lorry is turning up next Friday. We had a quick look and decided we would go to the local farmer's market in town and then on our return would don our walking boots and find the site foreman. We arrived back just as the heavens opened so we did a hasty retreat and decided to return in the afternoon. There was sunshine and blue skies in the afternoon so we returned and asked to see the foreman who has put our minds at rest. They are going to work all weekend and the road will be finished by close of play on Wednesday. The foreman also asked us if we would like to see inside the house and of course we said yes and all was looking very good.
Afterwards, we went for a walk and I noticed this lady and her dog sat by the water's edge. The sea was looking rather rough and very reddish brown as the river had washed a lot of sediment into the sea.
