Concert in the Park

The summer series of weekly concerts in Elizabeth Park started on Thursday, featuring the Legendary Chucklenuts - Blues - Rock - R&B. I just had to go! It's a terrific group, and my friend Charlie plays keyboard, harmonica, and sings -- a man of many talents.

To sustain myself for the concert, I paid a visit to Elizabeth Station beforehand -- it's just a block from the park. The plan was to have a quick bite and a pint, but I met some very interesting people and had trouble tearing myself away.

By the time I got to the concert, the crowd -- young and old -- was having a great time. The music was as good as it always is, and I got some decent photos.

It was one of the most enjoyable evenings I've had in a long time.
