Backblip

A day wandering about Newcastle. It's strange that, although I know many proud Geordies, they seldom point out just what a beautiful city they have. It came as quite a revelation :)
The centre is largely built of a lovely honey-coloured stone, with huge confident Victorian buildings. The chap on the pedestal in the middle is Earl Grey who mucked up a perfectly good cup of tea by adding oil of bergamot.

M working all day in Gateshead, then we went to the Sage for a gig by The Imagined Village. Excellent time had by all, and the space in Hall 2 was brilliant. Off to the hotel after and stayed up far too late talking to friends old and new. Sadly, didn't get to meet Flossie, the star of the show ;)
