Day 3
Woke up at 4:20am today to make it to a most wonderful spot to see the sunrise at Angkor Wat. This is one of the most famous temples, and we lucked out getting a spot where we did.
Within 10 minutes of arriving, tons of people crammed around. We even got chairs and coffee for a small fee.
Word of advice, bring a flashlight, because it wasn't the most fun trying to walk to the viewing area in complete darkness, but we made it by the help of other people who unlike us, brought flashlights. However, the complete darkness allowed us to see the beautiful stars in the sky clearly.
I took way too many shots this morning, as I am still learning how to adjust my settings properly. I admit, I've been a chronic AUTOMATIC MODE photographer in the past, but now is the time and place to learn otherwise.
The rest of the day (a full day!) consisted of visiting many more temples, and eating amazing food. We're tuckered out and must wake up early again tomorrow for a half day of more adventures.
