Note to self......

.....strike off North Wamberal as a sunrise location....
Tucked in around a headland I did not feel much joy photographing North Wamberal beach this morning. It missed the best of the predawn light and was deeply shaded once the sun actually broke the horizon.
Combined with the fact I had a deep feeling of unease, not sure why, I just didn't get into a groove. Jasper, my trusty sidekick, came along for company and I felt better for his company.
As I was leaving the beach I was caught by the intensity of light and shadow, the richness of the colour contrast, and the solitary tracks left by a fisherman seemed to fit my melancholy mood.........
