FIRST BUMBLEBEE

My first bumblebee for this summer - I’m sure it’s the first of many since bumblebees are usually more prevalent anything else. I like the way its eye looks pinkish as a reflection of the pink flowers.

Later in the day, we spotted an ugly-but-interesting bug on the garage floor, and I laid right down on the dirty floor to catch a shot. (Anything for Blip, of course!) He was about an inch long and had a dangerous looking mouth and feet. I might have blipped it if I could have identified it, and if it had been on a picture-worthy surface. (Instead it’s on Flickr.)
