Tiny birds nest fungi

A friend found these on the wooden garden edging. Goodness knows how as they are only about 1cm in diameter. I decided not to clone out the green seedling but leave natural. I couldn't even see the tiny 'eggs' in their nests with my naked eye.It was a bit like filming in the dark.
