All by myself.......

Sunday has come around so quickly and it was wonderful to spend the morning with Molly the Springer Spaniel again, oh and not forgetting her Mum and Dad Lesley and Robin of course!!. CCN and I had been out to Elliott Heads a couple of times last week and it was no hardship to head off again today. It's a truly beautiful part of the coastline and particularly spectacular when the tide is out.

Today I looked like a "Real Photographer". Robin had kindly lent me his Nikon D90 to try out so with both camera bags slung over my shoulders I headed off along the beach. First thing I realised is that I need to do some weight training before I move from the Sony Cybershot and secondly I must spend more time reading the manual!!.

It's really another world when you are using "Big Daddy" and apart from looking the "real deal" I don't think, in fact I know I didn't do it justice. Great to have Robin's encouragement though and it just makes me more determined to travel the road of learning how to wield a camera.

Seriously I did enjoy taking it. I felt a bit like the paparazzi, particularly when the fisherman kept looking across the water at me with a steely glare.

We topped off the morning walk with a coffee, herbal tea and a good old "Blether". That's Scottish for a good old chat. Welcome to Blip "thehumes", can't wait to see your first journal entry.
