We had a very pleasant evening of dinner and chat at Bob and Silvia's in Sotgrande. Sally and Bill and Nicola and Shenton completed the guest list. After Brazil had scored the winning penalty, we were able start dinner! As a bonus, we had a lift home too.

This morning, we woke to another scorcher in the offing and so we set off on our regular 7.5 km walk to Duquesa and back, pausing for coffee and toast on the way back. After a dip in the sea to cool off it may be time to sit in the sun now, in readiness for another dip shortly.

The holidays are tough, but someone has to have them!
