Queen's Baton Relay

The Queen's Baton Relay for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games passed through Aberdeenshire today so we cycled down to see the cavalcade pass through Meldrum. There was a good crowd out to cheer the baton bearers through the village. It was a bit like waiting to see a bike race - lots of waiting, then lots of police vehicles, then the actual action, then it was all over.
