While My Back was Turned

Some of the cottage roses need dead heading after an earlier hot spell in our absence but this one... having been an absolute misery for the past three years ..... seems to have enjoyed our absence! Lucky too that we have a youthful helper who looked after our two newly planted roses from fabulous Peter Beale's at Attleborough, both flowering like crazy!

The garden generally has gone bananas! Tempting to go similarly bananas with the weeding, dead heading and thinning out, but it is very hot, so trying to be sensible!
