Roundabout
A beautiful day spent chasing a spare part for the loo pump! The gaurdienne had telephoned the motor home dealer who confirmed that our spare part for the toilet water pump had arrived. 30 miles down the road, R wasn't sure it was the part he wanted so we asked them to keep it until tomorrow so that he can remove the one he had broken and take it with us for comparison. As we are leaving here and heading in that direction tomorrow, it won't be such a long journey in a roundabout way.
Some years ago I made a project of photographing roundabouts in France. There are some absolutely wonderfully artistic examples, each representing the town or area. This one on the outskirts of Montmelian shows the Savoie emblem in flowers, rocks signifying the mountainous region, and the grape vines of the area.
If the pump doesn't work tomorrow it's back to the beakers of water again! :-))
