Meet the Artist

To Frome in Somerset today, to visit the studio of the artist, Michael Bennett.

My mother first came across his work at an exhibition at the Royal Academy in London, where she discovered that he lived and worked just down the road in Frome. So very cheekily she phoned him up today, and asked if she could pop along to his studio to meet him, and to have a closer look at his work.

I don't need any persuading to make a trip to Frome, it's such a beautiful old market town, so off we went to 'Meet the Artist'! Michael was very friendly and very kindly agreed to me taking his photo next to two of his most recent works.
