Are You looking At Me?

I think this red admiral is the same one that has been hanging around our garden for a few days now.
I wonder where he sleeps at night?
One of the things that fascinate me about them is their take off.
They just seem to jump into the air and are off.
No running jump
No dropping down
No sound
I've linked this song before but it's so good and so fitting I think.
P.S. Joe, and Lucy, had a fine walk this morning. Lots of photos of herons but I just like this one.
