Blast from the past.....

Each visit home we used to make sure we fitted in a trip to the Drive-In.
Our youngest son started asking as soon as we relocated in January, "when can we go to the drive-in?"
Finally we made it tonight...school holidays and only 6 months after arriving back.
Winter means the show starts earlier than in the summer and we got to see 2 movies and still be home by 11 pm.
We pile a cooler full of drinks, grab a bag of treats and load the blankets and pillows into the car. All the windows stay open so as they don't fog up and we park with the tail-gate open facing the screen. We lay the seats down and all pile into the back together. It is COLD.....but so much fun.
