Back home at Tyven -

- it was a laundry day today. There were loads of laundry to be washed - luckily it did not rain today, although the day was really grim.

We only had three hours of sleep last night - went to bed at 3am and woke up full of energy at 6am - so towards the afternoon we were already walking around like zombies...

Went to see my father-in-law at the hospital today, anyway. He had fallen down before Midsummer and had a concussion and internal hemorrhage. He seemed to be pretty much his old perky self, but had somewhat lost his ability to form words.
It was nice that since he has been working as an opera singer in his prime he still had no difficulties in forming the complete lyrics singing the aria 'O sole mio', although some simple words were lost.

Bought our first new potatoes and strawberries from the open market today, yummy!
