Calm before the storm!

Our forecast for the next few days is rather disappointing to put it mildly: especially as the school holidays start on Thursday. Today, however, has been absolutely fab!

Beautiful walk in the morning with J and Bob. There was real heat in the sun even first thing :-)

Errands in town including a new sofa for the holiday cottage; we can't be sure but suspect some over enthusiastic guests may have been standing on it which has done it no good at all!!!!

An afternoon stroll with Mr Cakes and Caley was an unexpected treat. The water levels at the Laggan reservoir are incredibly low and lots of lovely beach was on show. It made for a great walk on such a nice sunny day.
