Happy Holidays!

We've started a day early. What rebels! But after the faffing with school today we decided the holidays start now.......The pupils were told school would finish at 2.00 p.m. for a staff meeting. No buses to take them home till 3.30 so they would need collecting at 2 and I made arrangements accordingly. All fair enough even though they have a half day tomorrow anyway and wouldn't it make sense to hold the staff meeting then and the children just not be expected in? Then they broke for a very extended and early lunch at 12.30 till 1.45 and had to go to registration for 15 mins before getting to go home; why just not finish at 12.30????

So we have declared the holidays have begun. School bags hidden in cupboards, uniforms in the wash, let the fun begin!!!!
