Sports Day 2014

After two failed attempts, our school sports day was held today and it was great fun!

It was great to see my eldest boy finally find his sports day groove and see the smile on his face as he laughed and joked with friends and took part in all the races without any frustration at not winning. He happily stopped mid race to wave to his little brother in the buggy before realizing just what he has done and sticking the bean bag between his leg and running as fast he could to the finish line.

My middle boy came fourth or fifth or sixth or similar in the tattie and spoon, bean bag and sack races but excelled at the flat out running race. Something along the lines of don't give me any of this 'fun' nonsense, just let me run.
