Grey sky

Yesterday late afternoon the blue skies turned grey and thunder rumbled in the distance, yay rain is coming! I put my buckets out excitedly (we're collecting rainwater to keep our trees alive later in the summer), but it barely fell on me - booo
They did get a really good downpour north of town but my garden was seriously disappointed and so was I :0(

This was the view from the washing line when I went out to rescue the clothes, anticipating a torrential down pour...perhaps I should have left them out, it might have rained on us then LOL
