Emily having a ponder on whether she prefers Empress Emily or Emily the Braveheart... she is having trouble spelling or pronouncing some of the other clever suggestions but is pleased she has been acknowledged as the Boss whether as La Jefa, a Kaiserin, a doggilicious defender, or a piebald pirate pathfinder!

In other news... Emily didn't bark at the dogs we met in the woods today. We went later than usual so it wasn't as busy. The heat worked in my favour as the pups were puffed out after 20 minutes into an hour's walk. The streams have dried up so no paddling opportunities. They have been remarkably dozy this afternoon so I imagine we are in for a lively evening!
