Four ranges

From the lakeside at Aix les Baines we twisted our way up to the top of Mount Revard (1491 meters) where the 365 degree panoramic view had us going round in circles! We really didn't know which was the most spectacular view. We stood on the platform extended out from the rocks and looked down through the clear walkway to the town below and across the lake towards the Jura mountains. Another view was of the snow covered mountains toward Grenoble, and yet another over the escarpments around Chambery. Once again Mt Blanc took pride of place but this time because there were three mountain ranges in front of it! Unfortunately the heat haze rather hampered our quest for clarity the distance, but we tried!
