Gecko amongst the ruins

We visited the Greek and Roman ruins at Empuries today, but most of the photos I took were of this little chap. I think it may be a Moorish gecko, but the photos I've seen show them not to be so dark. It was well camouflaged against the black and white mosaic tiles.
