"THERE'S A PLACE FOR US " - Ibiza holiday Part 4

We always hire a car for 3 days so we can visit certain favourite places and this is one of them. It is called Es Cubells, on the south west of the island and is only reached via a very narrow track road. You would not take your own car down the very steep track. I remember seeing the track many years ago with a small 'make shift' sign pointing downwards. But the 'leap of faith' is worth it as you can see. There is a fantastic restaurant by the sea and all the famous people seem to know of its existence. On the cliff tops the large villas are reported to be owned by the rich and famous.

Well we are not any of those, but we are always blessed by the peace of just listening to the sea with just a few sun beds keeping the rabble away. If you want noise, etc. then this beach is not for you. A large contingent of British appeared on the scene around lunch time armed with cheap snorkling kits, picnics etc. and fortunately they didn't stay. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

In past years we have seen friendly cormorants, naked fishermen and on the last visit a shoal of Manta Rays. So as you can see, not always calm but 'different'.

We are grateful that the weather has been kind to us since our return with no rain. Just hope it continues a bit longer.

Friday looming, hooray and the promise of a quiet weekend to come.

Thankyou for looking in on my holiday. xx
