"WHAT A DAY THIS HAD BEEN" - Ibiza Part 3
This is a view taken from our favourite bar on the beach. It is called the Marbella Bar and we have been coming to eat here since 1989.
Pepe, the owner, was just 16 years old when we first met him and now he is 41, married with two lovely children of his own. He is always smiling and very pleased to greet us, and remembers our boys. In fact the last thing he said to us was "Remember me to Matthew and give him my best".
The beach is always clean and the sea always blue. We watch the boats coming in on the hour bringing people to and from Santa Eulalia which is the next major town. And of course visiting yachts often moor up in the bay. Sometimes you see the 'sausage' being pulled out with unsuspecting youngsters hanging on for dear life as they are towed behind the fast motor boat and you know they are going to be tipped off at some time. It is never dull and always the light so bright.
I am glad the sun has been shining since we returned which has helped to soften the blow of our return.
Hooray, Wednesday almost gone and we are already half way through the week.
Hope you have all felt the warmth of the sun and long may it continue.
Thankyou for sharing my holiday 'snaps' with me and a few more still to come, if you can bare it!!! xx
