So, what's lying on your shelf?
For our little one, summer vacation officially started today. This morning, she received a call from a friend who asked if she joins him to an adventure park (Europapark). Seconds later she's begging me to let her go. I can still hear her begging. Mommy please, pretty please.
So I caved in and off she went.
The oldest one comes home at noon. Learns that her sister went to the park and to my surprise she was not a bit jealous. She used the afternoon to clean her room. She took everything out of the shelves and started sorting. To keep. To throw out! I was proud of her. Our cat, Zazu, loves a mess so he was in heaven in her room. I peaked in at some point and saw that she placed him on one of the top shelves. He was more than happy. Now he had a better view.
Late afternoon, hubby cam home and we started to paint the ceiling in one of our rooms. Not something we were looking forward to but had to be done.
In all this commotion, we didn't hear the door bell ring. When we did and finally opened the door, our little one ran in all in tears and screams. She was standing in front of the door apparently for half an hour and got scarred that no one was home. This little one that goes on roller coasters and doesn't think twice about it. She said that she went to the neighbours. Called my phone and house line and no one answered. Oh my! Now I can see why she was getting scarred. At the end, she calmed down and started telling us about all the rides she went on today.
Uff! One of those days.....
