CannyScot's Day

Visit from Jaydee73

A cloudy, showery day and rather cold, certainly not Summer weather. Today we had a visit from fellow Blipper, Jaydee73. Jaydee is a retired Minister who normally lives in Portugal but who returns 3 or 4 times a year to his native Scotland. I met him a while ago in St. Andrews on his last visit. We had hoped to have lunch in the garden but had to retire inside. We did manage to spend time in the Summer House where Jaydee showed me his 365 Blip Book, a really beautiful production - definitely tempting me to consider getting one at the end of this Blip Year.

I continue to greatly value the Blip Community for its friendliness and supportiveness and the opportunity to meet people whom I have made friends with over the months. After 6 months I have learned so much about my own City and area, and the world of other Blippers. I feel I have developed my camera skills and have become aware of challenges and new skills to learn.

Thank you to all of you who make this daily experience so enriching.

By the way, if you would like to see evidence that I did have Nasturtiums in my salad last night, look here - although I realise it isn't definite proof that I did actually eat it - but I did, and survived to say that it tasted fine.

Have a lovely weekend - and a happy 4th July to my American friends.
