The Lady Margaret Boat Club.
This boat house, which belongs to St John's College, was built in 1901 and was the first to incorporate a workshop on it's premises. This is a side view, from Victoria Avenue. I pass by here regularly and there is always a pile of boats stacked outside. Maybe they are destined for a makeover in the workshop! Another beautiful day so I ventured out on my new shopper bike, then visited the library where I found a film I'd missed. It was '12 Years A Slave' and I have read the book of the true story. For a very small fee you can keep the film for a week, I also bought some strawberries but threw them out as they were rather mushy. I know the shop would have changed them but I won't be there again for some days. So, it's melon and ginger for part of my '5 a day'
