Returning to the stomping ground

Today I went to watch young Charlie play Football at Blue Rovers Football Club in Tauranga.

Years ago this was a traditional Saturday morning ritual to watch my son and his team play from the age of 5 years ( sand shoe ) to 10 years (boots) at the same field.

Great morning to reminisce and watch young kids learn vital sporting and team building skills.

For the record the usual vocal outspoken passionate parents were still on the side line yelling advise (or abuse, I'm sure I've heard farm dogs called better then today)

Other than the next generation nothing has changed.
