Yes, We Can

Cynthia and I celebrated Independence Day by going to Yes We Can -- The Northwest's First Canned Craft Beer Festival -- a fund raiser for RE Sources.

It was held in the parking lot and street in front of Elizabeth Station. Thirty breweries and cideries were there with samples of their products, all in cans. There were a few food carts, live music, and entertainers from the Bellingham Circus Guild -- two of them featured in my photo. The juggler on the right only has one arm. His motto should be "Yes, I can!"

It was a fun evening. We met several people we knew, and the intermittent rain couldn't dampen the spirits of the crowd -- or us!
