Tour de France -- Live...

...which meant a 3:45 a.m. wakeup for us, so that we could be at the Mount Bakery by 5:00. Cynthia was raring to go, in spite of her latest misfortune -- hives!

The other attendees were real cyclists -- not voyeurs like us. We were more interested in viewing the Yorkshire countryside than the racing, and hoping to catch a glimpse of a few blippers -- clearly an impossible goal! It brought back fond memories of a visit there in 1998.

C and I were both using our little Olympus cameras, but she decided to shoot mono in the challenging lighting conditions we faced. You can see her blip here.
