Cornwall Holiday

We have come to Cornwall for a week. We are staying in a house called White Horses in the village of Trevone, just outside Padstow. The house is beautiful and very comfy and Trevone is a lovely place. This was our first visit to the beach, in the evening sunshine. Conor was desperate to get into the sea!

We've had a long day today. Our flight from Edinburgh to Bristol was at 8.50am. I put Orla to bed in her clothes last night to save a bit of time this morning. Dad drove us to the airport and Ed picked us up in Bristol. We headed to Cheddar Gorge and had a picnic lunch in the car then went to explore the caves. It really captured Orla's imagination. Then we drove to Cornwall. We passed through some very heavy rain on the way (around Glastonbury mainly, very unfortunate for everyone there this weekend!) but by the time we arrived in Trevone the sun was shining. We stopped off at Tesco for some supplies and picked up loads of leaflets. So much to do!
