Helicopters Down!

It was quite windy here yesterday and these two sycamore seeds are obviously casualties from that wind. They have been cut off from the tree in their prime - too early to fly gracefully down, spiralling all the way. I used to love playing with these little 'helicopters' when I was a child - they would keep me amused for hours... Do children today still enjoy such simple pleasures?
