A Day At A Time.

Reina Cristina

We certainly slept well and had an excellent breakfast, which more than made up for the poor dinner of last night.

This is a truly charming, olde-worlde hotel, very traditional in its furnishings and decor. A little tired in places, but that seems to add realism to the ambience. Michael Portillo certainly enjoyed his stay here while on his Spanish train journey, and I can quite understand why.

Before midday we set off back up the toll road to Riviera del Sol. I left Mum, content and probably a little worn out after her lightning stay-away, but I think she had a good time.

Off to the new chiringuito for dinner soon. Great expectations!
