Caught in the headlights.....

Good day at work, had my first business proposal for a project approved by my new Director...he was complimentary about the structure and content of my business case; good one for the confidence.

I was really sad to hear about the passing of Bill McLarenyesterday. I only met him once, when I was 10 years old in fact. I was playing in a junior rugby tourny in Gala and I got a boot in the face and started crying. He was watching the game and at the end he came over and gave me a boiled sweety from his paper bag for being brave enough to carry on. My favourite quote of his was when talking about Jonah Lomu, "I'm no hod carrier but I would be laying bricks if he was running at me". RIP Bill.

Briefly caught up with Stevie Fish for a chat tonight and now home eating lip smackingly good paella.

Oh......happy first anniversary Obama.
